The Evolution of Soviet Posters exhibition will feature a collection of famous posters that have been published from the creation to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Poster art took on an important role throughout the Soviet Era. The visual language of the Soviet posters became a powerful way to deliver influential propaganda messages and encourage calls for action.

Posters of the Soviet Era form a timeline of the significant historical events representing the creation and evolution of the Soviet Union. The unique art of the Soviet posters was designed to indicate times of war and struggle, express changing ideologies, and reflect each major event in the life of the Soviet people.

The exhibit will feature a collection of published prints from the Soviet Era as well as original posters from the 1970s.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 15
