Rothko Chapel presents Summer Solstice Observances

The Summer Solstice Sunrise Observance will begin with Indian ragas performed by classically trained South Indian vocalist Prema Bhat. With a Masters in Carnatic (Indian voice and theory) Bhat will share early morning ragas which are known to have a meditative quality. The performance is followed by a facilitated walk through a temporary labyrinth placed on the Chapel plaza by Jay Stailey, a founding member of the Rothko Chapel Guild and internationally renowned labyrinth creator.
