"Rosés de Bandol" wine dinner at Bistro Provence

Bistro Provence hosts a wine dinner featuring Rosé wines of Bandol. The dinner, created by owner Genevieve Guy and her staff, will feature five wines paired with a five-course French Provence menu. The special guest Amine Matta, the largest importer and most avid promoter of the wines from Bandol will introduce each wine.

First course
Moules farçies à la Provençale, fresh mussels prepared the Provençale way.
Pairing: Domaine La Suffrene, VDP Rosé 2013.

Second course
Salade de fenouil, crouton au fromage de chèvre, huile d'olive extra vierge du Domaine La Suffrene, fennel and goat cheese salad, tossed in Domaine La Suffrene extra virgin olive oil.
Pairing: Domaine Laffran-Veyrolles  Rosé 2013.

Third course
Poulpes grillés au citron et  à l'origan, lemon and fresh oregano grilled octopus.
Pairing: Domaine La Garenne Cuvée M Rosé 2013.

Fourth course
Vivaneau à la nage de Marseille et ses petits légumes de saison, red snapper poached in broth, Bouillabaisse style.
Pairing: Domaine La Suffrene Rosé 2013.

Ile flottante à notre façon, a version of the floating island.
Pairing: Domaine La Suffrene Cuvée Ste Catherine 2007.
