Although known for her acting career starring as "Alex Russo" in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverley Place, 17-year-old Texas native Selena Gomez's songs range from a mix of rock, hip-hop, and pop music to the occasional ballad. Gomez and The Scene released their sophomore album, A Year Without Rain, in 2010.
