Keith Urban first started in the U.S. in a band called the Ranch before breaking away to start his solo career. After the Ranch disbanded, Urban was on vocal rest due to throat problems. However, he was asked by Garth Brooks, the Dixie Chicks and one of Nashville's top producers to play the guitar on their records. The talented musician now uses his expertise in the popular talent television show, American Idol. Urban's latest album, Fuse, was released in 2013.
