Raised in Louisiana, Hunter Hayes embraced his Cajun roots and learned to play the accordion as a toddler. At just 4 years old, Hayes accompanied the legendary Hank Williams Jr. on stage in front of thousands of people to sing and play his newly learned instrument to Williams' father's hit Jambalaya. The young, talented Hayes quickly became a celebrity in his home state, meeting other stars such as Johnny Cash and Charlie Daniels.
