The Eli Young Band was created by two students, Mike Eli and James Young, at North Texas State University in Denton before forming today's four-man band in 2000. The band increased in popularity through local radio airplay and extensive touring in a van throughout the Southwest. Eventually, the band's popularity surpassed the Texas borders and reached Nashville's biggest stars. Eli Young Band opened for country big-timers Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Alan Jackson, before headlining its first national tour in 2012.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m.; performers usually take the stage between 9 and 9:30 p.m.
