Dr. Mei Rui, concert pianist and faculty in the Department of Neurosurgery at MD Anderson, curates this Valentine’s Day concert as part of the inaugural Music-in-Medicine Initiative (MIMI) - Concerts in the Park at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Going beyond patient experience, Dr. Rui will be collaborating with ROCO musicians and delving into harnessing evidence-based “prescription” music medicine as a non-pharmacological and non-invasive intervention to enhance patient outcomes, provide wellness, and enhance surgical performance.
