Presented in partnership with Holocaust Museum Houston, ROCO’s Connections series features guitarist Mak Grgic in an evening of works from around the world, live from the Museum’s Albert and Ethel Herzstein Theater.
Joined by string quartet and bass, Mak will perform the U.S premiere of his Balkan Suite, based on music from his native Balkans, plus works by Aaron Jay Kernis and others. Completing the program is the world premiere of Bruce Adolphe’s Solitude – inspired by his experiences of quarantine – for oboe, string quartet, and bass.
The concert will also be livestreamed at ROCO.org, Facebook, and YouTube.
