The 84th Azalea Trail will herald the beginning of spring. The Trail kicks off with the annual ribbon cutting at the Lazy Lane entrance of Bayou Bend. They will honor Gary Tinterow, Director of MFAH, at this year’s ribbon cutting ceremony.

The ticket to the Trail gives admission to six locations within the River Oaks neighborhood, including four private homes and gardens, Bayou Bend ,and Rienzi. A seventh free location is the River Oaks Garden Club Forum of Civics, where free advice from “Ask the Experts” can be enjoyed each day.  Also at the Forum this year, there will be free floral demonstrations by ROGC members.

A free bus provides easy access to all six locations of homes, gardens, and house museums as well as to the Forum of Civics Building.
