River Oaks Chamber Orchestra's Amahl and the Night Visitors

eventdetail

An opera in one act by Gian Carlo Menotti, Amahl and the Night Visitors was the first opera to be composed specifically for television. It tells the poignant story of the journey of the Magi and a miracle for a little boy as his physical disability is cured. Sean Holshouser, boy soprano, makes his debut as Amahl, whose tender voice reminds us of the true spirit of the season.
