River Oaks Chamber Orchestra continues its ROCO Unchambered series with a performance titled "Divas and Ballerinas" featuring ROCO violist Tawnya Popoff with pianist Charles Tauber. The concert includes revered pieces from the most beloved composers of ballet and opera, but what unites the pieces are their ability to tell a story.
The performance includes music by Puccini, Bizet, Prokofiev and Stravinsky plus Beethoven's Variations on Magic Flute and music from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.
