The River Oaks Chamber Orchestra continues to add to the genre's repertoire with another new work, this time based on the poetry of Walt Whitman and Stephen Foster.
The concert, led by maestro David Danzmayr and featuring mezzo soprano Sasha Cooke, includes Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 "Reformation," Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture and the world premiere of Pierre Jalbert's From Dusk to Starry Night.
