This presentation explores the role of architect John F. Staub in the creation of Rienzi. The former residence of philanthropists Carroll Sterling and Harris Masterson III, Rienzi is now the MFAH house museum for European decorative arts and paintings. Leading the lecture are Stephen Fox, architecture historian, author of The Country Houses of John F. Staub and co-author of Rienzi: European Decorative Arts and Paintings; and Katherine Howe, director of Rienzi and co-author of Rienzi: European Decorative Arts and Paintings.
