Imbibe, the national magazine that covers "liquid culture" just named Alba Huerta Bartender of the Year. Huerta is co-owner of The Pastry War and is owner of the soon to open southern regional cocktail bar named Julep. Huerta is a Houston home-grown talent with 14 years experience tending bar, managing Twelve Spot downtown and later Anvil for 4 years.
Huerta will present a mescal and tequila pairing with chef Pedro Garcia, highlighting the regions and diversity of agave.
