Through dance, costuming and theater, come take an underwater journey to a mysterious realm where you will encounter mermaids, urchins, fish and a host of creatures. Aquaria is a fantasy world where urchins wear tutus and fish dance ballet.

Always inspired by animals, artistic director Maggie Lasher now takes the ChinaCats somewhere they have never been before by merging dance, theater, costuming and puppetry to create this watery realm. This project is supported by the Rice Dance Program, a division of the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation Department at Rice University.

The performance will be held at the Barbara and Gibbs Recreation Center.
