Rialto Pictures
Set in France during the Algerian war for independence, a right-wing secret agent (Michel Subor) for a French terrorist group has deserted the army. When he continually fails to assassinate a woman (Anna Karina in her debut) who is a member of the left-wing Algerian liberation movement, the young man is suspected of being a double agent. Complications arise when the two fall in love.
