The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston partners with Gulf Coast Reads to present a conversation featuring author Stephen Harrigan (Remember Ben Clayton) and Lisa Gray, columnist and features writer at the Houston Chronicle. Gulf Coast Reads is an annual initiative that focuses on promoting the simultaneous reading and discussing of a selected book by residents of the upper Texas Gulf Coast.

Remember Ben Clayton, this year's Gulf Coast Reads selection, is a novel about Texas history, art and sculpture; World War I and its aftermath; and complicated family relationships. The book was awarded the 2013 James Fenimore Cooper Prize for Best American Historical Fiction.
