Bob Schneider's exhibit, "The Life We Live Here," shows the dichotomy of what is considered idyllic (far removed from reality) and what is considered taboo (closer to reality) in our society. The main theme of the work is the dichotomy between the backgrounds, which are mainly Currier and Ives prints, which were meant to appeal to the broadest swath of the American public, and the figures in the foreground which are culled from mostly '60s under-the-counter pornography magazines, which were very taboo.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until January 29.
