Primarily working through series of mixed-media paintings, sculpture and large outdoor murals throughout urban Houston, Stephanie Darling created Biomorphic as the result of her aim to absorb those transmutational qualities of decay related to the physical progression of death and the effects of scavenging within the animal kingdom into a deconstructive/reconstructive collage process analogous to the deterioration and resilience of life through death.
