Rec Room is doing its first New Works festival and they are accepting submissions for its Weird Sh*t Plays event. People can submit either a 10 minute play or a one-act play to weirdshitplays@gmail.com. A payment of $10 per submission is required for the cost of printing/distributing. Plays that will be chosen will be read by December 1.

• Wednesday, December 14: New Play Slam - Bring your short plays, buy a ticket, pay $5, and Rec Room will read them all.
• Thursday, December 15: Five 10 minute plays will be read at 8 pm, one one-act play will be read at 9:30 pm.
• Friday, December 16: Five 10 minute plays will be read at 8 pm, one one-act play will be read at 9:30 pm.
• Saturday, December 17: Six-line play festival/celebrate the end of the semester.
