This reception celebrates artist Raquel Ocando's first solo exhibition. Currently residing in West Houston, Ocando makes art that draws influence from her native home of Maracaibo, Venezuela. This show initiates a push for more art and culture in the Katy area by the newly formed Katy Cultural Council.
