Pinot Noir is truly the grandest of grapes. Wines from Pinot are pale in color, translucent and their flavors are very subtle. Perfect for the spring weather and the patio, and Pinot is the master at pairing with food.

This Monthly Wine event will explore four festive Pinots, each paired with a Spring Menu taste from Chef Mark Schmidt.

Pairings

  • Novy Family, Van der Kamp Vineyard, Blanc de Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon with Spring Toasts - Asparagus, Arugula, Peas and Goat Cheese, Lemon and Olive Oil
  • Trinity Hill, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand with Grilled Pork Tenderloin on Creamy Farro with Squash and Blossoms
  • Saurus, Select, Patagonia, Argentina with Spring Lamb Chops Lollipops with Garden Mint Pistou
  • Bouchard Aîné & Fils, Burgundy, France with Lemon Bars with Boozy Blueberries
