The French National Day commemorates the Storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution. Rainbow Lodge will celebrate Bastille Day; it's an obvious reason to taste great French wines paired perfectly with Chef Mark Schmidt’s cuisine.
The dinner will feature Liberation de Paris winery, owned by Houstonians, Jean-Francois and Nathalie Bonneté, and created by two Burgundian winemakers trained in New World wines who descend from a long line of wine producers and negociants specializing in three of France's major wine producing regions: Languedoc-Roussillon, Burgundy and the Rhône Valley.
