Railfest 2013 celebrates 160 years railroading in Fort Bend County. Activities at Rail Fest include riding the Union Pacific Mini Train, live music with the Brazos River Pickers and Star Flight, games, hobo re-enactors, crafts such as making your own hobo bindle (sack on a stick), masks and more.

Come watch the nearly 60 trains that pass the museum each day along with model train layouts in HO scale, S scale, a Lionel layout and Thomas the Tank engine interactive layout. In addition, Operation Lifesaver will have a trailer present to educate children large and small about train safety.

Concessions will be available for purchase from O'Henrys Catering and a 1917 Model T Ford will be on display.
