Queensbury Theatre hosts a staged reading of this new work by Gwen Flagger. The reading is the first phase of a thee phase process bringing Girls Who Sing In the Choir to the Queensbury Stage in July of 2018.
Last season, as part of the continuation of the New Works Reading Series, Queensbury Theatre selected six new plays written by Houston and surrounding area playwrights to be read in a concert style reading series at the theatre. Of the six, one would be chosen to be produced in the 2017/2018 New Works Development Program. Queensbury Theatre announced that Girls Who Sing In the Choir by Houston playwright Gwen Flager has been selected to be part of the inaugural New Works Development Program.
