The Public Relations Society of America's August luncheon will present Cyndy Garza Roberts, director of public affairs for H-E-B Houston, to discuss the competitive advantages and importance of investing into communities. Garza will share her experiences and knowledge in leadership, public relations and philanthropy.

Since 2005, Garza has been serving as H-E-B's director of public affairs for the Houston division, where she is currently responsible for the company's public relations, community relations, media relations, governmental relations and philanthropic giving. H-E-B, which celebrated its 105th anniversary in 2010, operates more than 350 stores in Texas and Mexico, with sales of more than $20 billion.
