The Excalibur Awards gala honors outstanding public relations professionals, programs and organizations in Houston and attracts Houston-area public relations and communications practitioners, media professionals and corporate leaders. KHOU Ch. 11's Lily Jang and Chita Johnson will serve as emcees.
The theme, "Now Trending: #2014ExcaliburAwards | Celebrating the Power of Public Relations," will showcase the art of public relations through social media and its impact on Houston's public relations professionals and their award-winning public relations campaigns. Awards will be presented in a number of categories for both public relations tactics and campaigns. Special awards, including CEO Communicator of the Year and Young Public Relations Professional of the Year, will also be presented. One outstanding public relations team will receive the 29th Annual Grand Excalibur Award, an engraved steel sword symbolizing that the highest standards in the public relations profession have been achieved.
