Guests can meet the “Wandering Book Artists” Peter and Donna Thomas during the Houston stop of their cross-country tour celebrating 40 years of making books by hand. They will share stories of their travels and samples of their limited-edition and one-of-a-kind books in a presentation that will be sure to inspire.
The Thomases are book artists from Santa Cruz, California. They make paper, print, and bind books. They make both edition and one-of-a-kind books, which combine the precision of the fine press aesthetic with the structural creativity found in contemporary artists’ books.
