Now in its eighth season, the American Idol-style competition has showcased talented LGBT artists on their way to the spotlight. That would be bragging rights, cash, studio time and a showcase performance during Houston Pride Week. Hosted by Mix 96.5's Chad Pitt with judges Joey Guerra and Tianna Hall, the competition welcomes contestants Hilary Bartlett, David Dominguez, Laz Estrada, Joshua Green, Javier Johnson, Whitney K Lane, Mason Metcalf, Daniel Rosales, Kristof Shane, La'Pearl Shaw, Jared Smith and Julio Vasquez.
