Preservation Houston presents Cornerstone Dinner: 2017 Good Brick Awards

Since 1979, Preservation Houston has celebrated outstanding historic preservation projects and the people who make them happen by presenting the Good Brick Awards.

During the Cornerstone Dinner, the recipients of the 2017 Good Brick Awards will be recognized and Gerald D. Hines will receive Preservation Houston's President's Award for his contributions and unparalleled impact on Houston’s skyline and the present and future of our city.

This year's Good Brick Award recipients include Anne Whitlock & Michael Skelly for the rehabilitation of Fire Station No. 2 in the East End, Rita & Bal Sareen for restoring their historic home in Old Braeswood and David Denenburg for the adaptive re-use of historic Fire Station No. 3 in First Ward.

Event chairs are Diane & Charles Ofner and Penny & Fred Jones.
