Post-Studio Projects opening reception: Anti-cube

eventdetail

Post-Studio Projects presents Anti-cube, a solo exhibition that features work by Houston-based artist Karen Brasier. Brasier creates abstract sculptural forms that address issues of space, place and social interaction. Anti-cube is a site-specific installation made of sewn-together plastic grocery bags. The hanging construction forms a "white cube" that addresses the experience of the gallery space.

Brasier is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Houston. She holds a MA in architecture from the University of Cincinnati and has studied sculpture at the San Francisco Art Institute.

On view through May 3.
