Whether novice or expert, if you have the curiosity and courage to put pencil to paper — then this workshop is for you. In the first hour, poet Lupe Mendez will provide and discuss a variety of texts on poetry and prose. In the second hour, he will cover the basics such as critiquing each other's work and practicing simple creative writing and brainstorming exercises.

Attendees can attend the whole series (July 24, July 31, Aug. 14 and Aug. 21) or individual classes.
