Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital and the Sugar Land Skeeters will team up to honor breast cancer survivors during "Pink in the Park." The Skeeters take the field at 7:05 p.m. during the fourth game of a six-game home stand against the Bridgeport Bluefish. During the event, all breast cancer survivors in attendance will receive a special gift and on-field recognition as the Skeeters' players wear pink jerseys — all attendees are invited to wear pink.

Following the game, an auction of the Skeeters' jerseys will take place with all proceeds benefiting the new comprehensive Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Breast Care Center, scheduled to open in early 2014.
