Austin-based photographers Anna Krachey, Jessica Mallios and Adam Schreiber will have their first-ever museum exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, with an opening reception on Thursday, November 5.

Krachey, Mallios and Schreiber are friends and colleagues who enjoy exploring how photography distorts, misleads and invents. They use large-format box cameras and employ extreme close-ups, unusual framing and interesting points of view to showcase how the medium of photography can create as well as record.

Their work will remain on display until February 2010.
