The Periwinkle Foundation develops and provides programs that positively change the lives of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and are cared for at Texas Children’s Hospital. More than 4,000 children each year are touched by Periwinkle programs such as Camp Periwinkle, Camp YOLO, Family Camp, Making A Mark Art Exhibit and the Long-Term Survivor Program. Funds raised through the biennial gala provide vital support to the Periwinkle camps and programs.
This year’s Gala will honor Mary Nell Suell, M.D. and William P. Boone with the Gerson Award which is presented to individuals who give their time and talents to turn dreams into reality for Periwinkle children. As part of the celebration, Periwinkle will also be recognizing their partnership with AUTOSOL and Nice Winery.
