The Periwinkle Foundation invites Houstonians to experience Making A Mark®, an exhibition of art and creative writing by children and teens touched by cancer and blood disorders at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Centers.
More than 300 moving works of original art by young patients as well as larger-than-life art pieces made in collaboration with local artist Emily Fens will adorn Texas Children’s auxiliary bridge before traveling to other venues throughout the country. The exhibit is in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month in September.
