MURAL, performed at the Chapel in March 2010, will be performed again in celebration of the release of the production CD. The performance's soft and contemplative music is related to that of Morton Feldman, a major figure in 20th-century music, whose composition Rothko Chapel was created in honor of Mark Rothko. With Jim Denley on flute and saxophone, Kim Myhr on acoustic guitar and Ingar Zach on percussion, MURAL is a site-specific and improvisational work relating to and inspired by the Rothko paintings in the Chapel.
