Pearland Crawfish Festival takes the friendly, relaxed fun and community feel of a small town fair and serves it up big with hot, fresh crawfish, Cajun dishes and classic festival fare. Zydeco, country, blues and classic rock bands plus splash dogs, armadillo races, crawfish-eating contests, arts and craft vendors, carnival and children's area are all part of the fun.
The Houston Blues Society Stage lineup includes performances by John Egan, Luther and The Healers, Vince Converse and New Shoes Band, Sonny Boy Terry, DelGrosso Del Toro Richardson Band, Trudy Lynn with Steve Krase, The Mighty Orq, Dave Nevling and the Blues Kats, Tommy Dardar, Annika Chambers and the House Rules Band, Brad Absher and Swamp Royale, John McVey and The Stumble, Eugene Moody, Texas Johnny Boy, Big Cletus & The Littles, and Tony Vega Band.
The U.S. Backline/Texas Hot Country Stage lineup includes performance by Jesse Roach of American Idol, Sawdust Road, Cecil Shaw, Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys, Bon Ton Mickey and the Zydeco Hot Steppers, Nick Michael Taylor, The Classix (featuring members of Radio London), Randy Meadows, Kevin Anthony, Zach Tate, Come See my Dead Person, and Van Wilks.
The event benefits Pearland, Alvin and Fort Bend ISDs and The Houston Blues Society.
