Appearing on stage with just a barstool, a microphone, and a can of Diet Pepsi, Paula Poundstone convulses fans with her razor-sharp wit and spontaneity. The stand-up comedian is a frequent panelist on the National Public Radio news quiz show, "Wait Wait ... Don’t Tell Me!" and a regular guest on "A Prairie Home Companion." This will be her first performance in Houston in three years.

A national spokesperson for The Association of Library Trustees Advocates Friends & Foundations, Poundstone is partnering with the Friends of the Houston Public Library, who will sell her book for which they will receive 100% of the proceeds. Poundstone will sign copies of purchased books after the show.
