Recognized as European Winery of the Year (2006) by Wine Enthusiast, the Torres family has been cultivating their own vineyards in the beautiful Mediterranean region of Penedes for the last 300 years. They have received numerous high ratings for their wines in both Wine Spectator and Enthusiast over the years and in 2010, Europe's leading drinks publication voted Torres "Green Winery" of the year for their commitment to the environment.

At this casual event in the Cooking School and the upstairs patio, guests will learn about and sample these wines that will be paired with tapas and paella: Torres Esmerelda 2010, a Moscatel/Gewurtzraminer blend from Catalunya; Torres "Mas La Plana" 2006, a Cabernet Sauvignon from Penedes; and "Vina Sol" 2009, a Reserve Chardonnay from Parellada.
