Parsons House Assisted Living and Pinnacle Senior Care are hosting a "Virtual Dementia Tour" for community members and caregivers or loved ones of those with dementia. The event simulates the experience of having dementia through various apparatuses, including distortion glasses, while participants attempt to complete everyday tasks.

The tour provides a better understanding of common behavioral tendencies of those with dementia as a reaction to symptoms of the disease. Join and learn the obstacles and challenges people diagnosed with dementia face day to day with everyday tasks. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
