Panto Sleeping Beauty, fresh on the heels of last season's Panto Cinderella, takes the familiar fairly tale and injects a bit of British-style vaudeville sensibility, a dash of contemporary reference and a pinch of audience participation for a rowdy, raucous take on the Mother Goose classic.

In this interpretation, Sleeping Beauty is is a Houstonian, her pops is an oil tycoon, and her lover has just skipped town.

The performance features original music and is totes family-friendly, except for the New Year's Eve showing, which has been recommended for adults only and includes a midnight dessert and champagne toast.
