Now in its 48th year, the Original Greek Festival returns Oct. 2-5 on the grounds of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Montrose. Expect delicious Greek food and wine, plus entertaining displays of traditional Greek dancing and music, a shopping area with imported goods, Cathedral tours, children's activities and more.

Admission to the festival is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. There is no charge for admission between 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday. Presale ticket packages are available for $22, which includes admission, a dinner plate, plus choice of Souvlaki, Greek salad or a Greek pastry box. Presale tickets may be purchased through Sept. 29.
