Operation Glove, an organization that collects baseballs, baseball gloves and money to purchase those items to send to military service men and women who are serving overseas, kicks off a six-week campaign that ends on Sept. 2. Guests are encouraged to donate baseballs, gloves or money as means to combat suicides, homesicknesses and depression so prevalent among active military members.

Little J's Bar will offer one free drink for every donation, along with activities that include a hot dog eating contest, baseball trivia, national anthem writing contest and patriotic music.
