Opera in the Heights' "Bravissimo! 2014 – The Grand Gala" begins with a silent auction and cocktails, followed by a seated dinner with a live auction. One of the highlights of the live auction is a trip to Greece to stay in a beachside bungalow. A special concert is also part of the evening, with some surprises in store for guests.

Board chairman David Douglas will recognize company benefactor Dr. Petros Carvounis, director of the vitreoretinal fellowship program and associate professor of ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Proceeds from the event help Opera in the Heights enhance the careers of young professional artists and enable those of all ages to enjoy opera at affordable prices.
