Benefiting Casa Juan Diego, a center serving immigrants, refugees and the poor, this exhibition of paintings curated by McWhorter Gallery inspires hope through Sherry Sullivan's images of hot air balloons, blooming flowers and fiery goddesses. The opening at Block 7 will include a talk at 7 p.m. with Mark and Louise Zwick, founders of Casa Juan Diego, who will discuss their newly released book, Mercy Without Borders. The exhibition is on view through Jan. 16, 2011.
