Bob Levy, a former chemical engineer, retired from the petroleum industry and began documenting Houston's homeless. On Jan. 22 Levy will present a collection of photographs taken over the last three years of homeless men and women seeking shelter at The Beacon, a homeless center operated by Christ Church Cathedral, where the images will be displayed.
Levy hopes to evoke through their faces the inherent grace and dignity in all people, and to encourage viewers to reevaluate society's stereotypes.
Proceeds from the sales of the images will benefit The Beacon.
