After exhibiting at several galleries around Houston, Gonzales has put together a selection of drawings, painting and photographs from throughout his career. The exhibition samples Gonzalez's work from early, traditional renderings in graphite, later explorations into abstraction and more recent images of social commentary.
Gonzalez's abstractions create tension between geometric and organic shapes, while subtly including a familiar form from urban landscapes. The figurative themes span from render studies, wistful nostalgia, musical performers and others. On display through June 25.
