This exhibit features artwork inspired by 17th century Mexican nun Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz (1651-1695), a poet and playwright and the first person in the Americas to argue in writing for the rights of women to be educated.

Participating artists include: Alma Soto, Lorena Alvarez, Yolanda Buccio, Ruth Sosa Bailey, Renee Rodriguez, Artista Elisabet, Melanie Kane, Diana Muniz and Lilibeth Andre.
